Over 100 local artists once again throw open the doors to their homes and studios and invite you to talk to them first-hand and see their work in progress. This is a great way to see or buy interesting artwork, meet the artists and see more of the area’s fantastic coast and countryside.
Art Trek 2013 spans three weekends in July from Saturday 6th to Sunday 21st with some artists opening on additional days and offering demonstrations and workshops. Entry to most venues is free and there is no obligation to buy; the ethos is to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere so you can gain insights into the creative process.
A comprehensive guide will be available from the middle of May, with details of the participating artists, including some group exhibitions showcasing a wide range of arts and crafts in a single venue.
